Currently, I am a Director of Green Software at Intel, Executive
Director and Chairperson of the Green Software Foundation. I
advocate to, and on-behalf of, the global audience of
environmentally-conscious technologists. I'm working to answer the question
"can we build software, so it has zero harmful environmental effects?".
Previously I have led Cloud Advocacy for EMEA at Microsoft and freelanced
for various companies including Google. I was a Vice President at Morgan
Stanley and JP Morgan investment banks. I have worked at several startups,
failed several more of my own. I started my career at the European Space
Agency in their mission control centre in Germany, launching rockets.
you can find them all on my codecraft.tv website and I have written and
published a few books as well.
I keynote regularly at conferences around the world across a range of topics.
